Worn ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Worn mobile application and website (worn.fit). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile preferences (style preferences, occasion settings).
Wardrobe Data: Photos of clothing items are stored on your device only and are never uploaded to our servers. AI-generated metadata (category, color, season, brand, material, formality level) is stored in our database.
Selfie Photos: Your selfie is stored on your device only. When you use the virtual try-on feature, your selfie and clothing images are sent directly to AI services for processing but are not stored on our servers. Virtual try-on results are cached temporarily on your device only.
Usage Data: Wear counts and basic interaction data to improve recommendations. Outfit combinations and try-on results are stored on your device only and are not sent to or retained on our servers.
Waitlist Data: If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and chosen tier (founding member or standard).
We use third-party services for database hosting, AI-powered features (clothing categorization, outfit recommendations, virtual try-on, and resale listing generation), and analytics. When your images are sent to AI services for processing, they are transmitted securely and are not retained for model training.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
Wardrobe metadata is stored securely in our database with row-level security policies ensuring users can only access their own data. All photos (clothing items and selfies) remain on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. When photos are sent to AI services for processing (categorization, try-on), they are transmitted over HTTPS and are not retained by those services.
We retain your account and wardrobe metadata for as long as your account is active. Photos and selfies are stored on your device and are under your control. You may request deletion of your account and all associated server-side data at any time by contacting us at hello@worn.fit. Upon account deletion, all server-side data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Worn is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
